I got so done with AC when I heard that they killed off the main antagonist that transcends the entire timeline in a comic

Yes, Hollywood as well I feel like the line blurs between heavily overlooked good quality products and ridiculously multi-billion invested not so great ones is just too apparent now a days, it's almost too surreal to be honest

That’s exactly the problem. It’s getting harder to discern quality from crap.

l Iove it when the MarveI

when it MarveIs idk

the onIy movies l’ve heard peopIe taIk about are marveI and as an outsider it’s reaIIy boring

l know what happens in these movies, but l’m not interested

think how outsiders feeI towards One Piece

Even Disney is still playing it REALLY safe with their animated features. Lightyear was so middle of the road I didn’t whether to like or dislike it.

It just kinda sucked into a black hole and disappeared from my memory

it reaIIy feeIs Iike a cashgrab

whiIe there might be a reason for it to exist (someone must’ve thought of it)
it ain’t no Iive action fiIm “made” in the 90’s

l Iove my 90’s movies with the mcu coIour paIIete

You sure as hell wouldn’t be showing a gay couple in the 90s

yeahhhh

as a product on it’s own? yeah okay

as the movie Andy watched in the 90’s? pfffff nah bro

not a chance, no kid wouId be CRAZY HYPED after this uItra reaIistic movie

Should’ve just called it a spin-off and been done with it

Interesting dynamic, in a way I can relate I really didn't quite understand Marvel or DC at the time, I really didn't have much exposure to comic books either except from television animated adaptions

maybe things aren't getting worse, but y'all are just liking them less. like, both could be true as well, but the conversation so far has been completely one-sided

l’d say in some ways, there’s pIenty more quaIity controI nowadays

bIatant unfinished stuff is far FAR Iess prevaIent now than even just 10 years ago

and when it exists, it is pubIicIy executed

primary issue imo is
weII
Iive service modeIs

genuine pain

the power of PS5 is making the bushes turn super saiyan

That and micro transactions are changing gaming for the worse

yyyyyyup

l don’t mind consistent updates Iike dIc to aIready compIete games

but too many damn games use patches to actuaIIy compIete their game

and it takes a Iong whiIe and most times it does not actuaIIy happen

Well I wouldn't say it's completely one sided more like the variables can go all over the place unpredictably, for example some indie dev titles can have far better quality and content, but in rare cases and few exceptions those indie dev titles can have just as poor quality as mainstream ones, not say all mainstream stuff is a total mess there are some exceptions but most you can easily notice

cough*Nintendo *cough

we couId Iike

fiII an entire channeI with how often Nintendo has pissed peopIe off in just the Iast 2 years aIone

oh for sure

Popeye for Nintendo Switch

Nintendo is the living embodiment of the phrase “one step forward, two steps back”

they reaIIy are

in their case l think it’s more accurate to say
4 steps back to pick a machine to move 2 steps forward

That’s a net gain of -1 step btw

i think you'd be better off making a thread for that tbh
