nah you could tell they were modernizing the story with the first trailer showing some text changes, but just thinking about how they'd even release these stories if they didnt make any coherent links between them is a nightmare

and then the second trailer literally had a new scene

or altered at least

with sephiroth in the flames and then it glitching out to be some other clone

same difference. that's what I'm trying to get at. changes and additions in EC to tie everything together

so it doesn't just feel like "oh yeah it's all these games stories thrown into a mobile game"

instead it's one long story with different arcs and chapters
