Not necessarily true. Sometimes trophies make me go back and explore parts of a game I never knew existed! It’s especially the case for games like KH3 and Persona 5 Royal.

Seriously, I never would’ve known Schwarzgeist was a superboss if not for trophies and I’m super grateful to have experienced it.
