The za spells straight up flash your whole screen for two seconds and you can't see shit

I don't mind it personally because I like the rule of cooll

But KH3 has a particle issue

Kh3 combat is my favourite in the series

3 goes pretty aII out in some cases, but those are stiII finishers, so it can be excused
but games Iike FF7R (and seemingIy 16 too) just have giant circIes and shards fIying everywhere for every attack

Yeah the super flashiness can be too much at times

Nah there's like Triple the detail on him compared to a 14 model lol

But it's not just finishers, even the ga spells take up a lot of screen with particles

l think thundaga goes a bit overboard with the screen darkening but l don't recaII any issues with the others

And it doesn't look that bad here, the attacks happen fast enough that the special effects aren't there for so long it's distracting

That and spark the electric jester are the homing attack of fighting games

Like the slash attacks from your pic takes like half a second to vanish

My issue with 16 stems from its another super simple combat system that strays the farthest away from turn based and imo strategy the series has ever gotten

I like the art direction and how godly/integral to the plot the summons are tho

and again, they don't happen for your or the enemies basic attacks every singIe time
so your screen wiII be particIe'd but not for most of the entire fight

yeah gotta Iove that in FF games
ones Iike 7 might as weII not have them, but then ones Iike 10 and 15 can't have their story exist without them
