I don't know how that makes them horrible people. They just have communications issue. They both want what's best for each other, that's the furthest thing from being horrible.

Found out yesterday this is getting an animated show

I don't know how these people do it, where do they even get the money

they should have realized this from the start that there are communication issues and that they need to solve it but they never really try to find a solution. instead they are both constantly thinking that they are right and I hate people like this

literally to dumb to talk to each other

and it's frustrating because everytime the game sets up moments where they could talk one of them turns into a firetrucking bitch

I don't want to play a whole game for 20-40 hours with characters that are constantly assholes

there's this one quest in the desert where you need to save a monster and this quest was genuinely wholesome and outstanding because it was one of the few times where both of them weren't assholes

Kratos just wanted to spend time with his son

and this moment was genuinely good

but except for this quest I really didn't like their character interactions at all

the actual good character interactions I have enjoyed so far were those that weren't between Kratos and Atreus

I genuinely hated Neku and he turned into my favorite character over the game

OK serious question- you ever have communication issues with anyone before? Friend, collegaue, parent? It's unrealistic to assume people can "just talk them out" especially a kid torn between two worlds and a guy trying to make up for his past

no I don't because I immediately tell people I have problems with that I don't like them and I don't want to talk to them. it solves so many issues. I only talk things immediately out with people I really care about.
