getting through the story should be fine, but it's the leveling up your characters that may hinder you, especially since some characters can only be leveled up using items you get from later regions (specifically referring to brand-new characters they run on banners and make you pull for, not the freebie ones you begin with)

just getting back to this real quick: the ai isn't there to control the quantity of sidequests, just to write what ubisoft tells it to. if i can already figure ubisoft is gonna be stupid and saturate the game with sidequests, then that's where i'm coming from with this

unfortunately for you, the only thing paying does is give you more "stamina" to farm for the things that let you level up. so sorry, ya can't skip this shit with a credit card 😛
