I still think the storytelling in 4 is better. Most of 5 is a straightforward good vs evil story against some generic mustache twirler.

Like Persona 5 is "bigger" but it had the biggest new player boom- it'd been a gradual incline with every game but 5 blew tf up, so, even though it's more popular, in the weeds of the fanbase, it's very contentious at times.

the most annoying thing is that people always excuse it with "Yosuke is just insecure". Instead of admitting that P4 just wasn't that politically correct during the time it got released

I bought P5 just because I saw how high the metacritic score was and expected to hate it due to the anime artstyle. Oh boi was I wrong.

At times it feels like P5 was written by a 14 year old.

Well at the very least, make it unpredictable. So easy to tell where P5 was going.

No developer, character or anything has uttered the word timelines, new timeline or anything of that matter

KH is one of the few ARPGs that gets health bars right imo
