Zack Snyder makes fine movies as long as A. They're allowed to be as long as he wants them to be, and B. He doesn't get screwed with by executives.

I agree he couldn't have done them better, but, watching Man of Steel, directors cut of BvS, and his cut of JL, I think there's a clear narrative he was trying to put in place that got ruined

Well, Batman using the guns was in a dream sequence if I remember correctly, and, he didn't kill anyone, not directly, iirc.

This isn't just a him problem- DC has off and on done this for years, comics and movies and yeah , I don't like it either lol

In the Ultimate edition he does kill, its shown very often

I agree Batman should adhere to his code, but I feel like people get hung up on the "Batman shouldn't kill" thing for the wrong reasons.

I think a Batman that kills could be an interesting story but it's never properly explored thematically.

Yeah maybe that's why Superman stuff is the one thing that isn't either constantly roasted/panned and that hasn't gotten canceled lol

Most stories that try it have to find some way to make it happen that doesnt fit Bruce which is a massive problem
