even camera position in ff7r kinda reminds me of how the free roam camera is in ff13

tho do that and you'll get more people complaining about how FF isn't turn based anymore therefore it's bad

i still want a modern turn based ff game

If people are gonna complain about aerial combat in ff then either we need to not have it at all or make it better so they can realize that this scuffed system just ain’t it lol

unfortunatley most of the turn based devs have left the company

Like honestly I don’t think I’ve ever seen a worse system for aerial attacks in anything

it was a pretty good first attempt at hybrid turn and action based that's for sure

air attacks def seemed like a second thought

ff16 seems to have better Ariel combat

it probably was a call to how for flying enemies you wanna use magic for them rather than physical attacks cause flying enemies used to have higher speed

FFXVI is most likely full action

XVI just looks like what XV could’ve been gameplay wise

ff15 magic system is so dumb

Thing is I liked the idea of it

like why is every magic attack a magic grenade

tbh as ff15 is most of the magic type stuff comes from ignis for me

I just don’t get why it had to be so detrimental to use without the magic protection thing that was in the little dlc pack

since his daggers use ice, fire, and thunder

something i genuinley love about the current ff15 is what it did with the character select while in combat

being able to switch to any character on the fly is great
