combat system and I loved the character writing

and the exploration

I thought I saw it in the nominees before in past years

RPG elements were a mixed bag for me though

What the firetruck is the game even about

I remember when Octopath Traveler 2 was announced, the fans were ECSTATIC haha

you can choose one out of eight characters at the start at the game and you experience the character's story until you meet the other characters in the world and you can unlock and play their stories too. They also have heart to heart moments during the story and when you have finished all eight stories you get a bonus chapter with the climax of the game

one of the craziest turn-based fights I have ever played

the most firetrucked up part in the story

is an immortal guy making over 50 women pregnant just to create a prodigy child that is able to kill him

 

That's firetrucking wild holy hell

Why am I unphased by that?
