That's where it started for me too- Sonamy was one of the first ships I ever shipped.

Everyone has their like, "first fandom" where they get into fan culture, shipping and all that, mine was Sonic lol, little trial by fire but I turned out ok.

My first "fandom" from elementary school was Naruto haha

I would say Dragon Ball Z but the couples were already together so LOL

But yeah man, Sonamy has my whole heart

They're just so freaking cute and have great chemistry

It's pretty good- I just wish Sega would let Sonic Team explore their dynamic more

They have these weird editorial mandates in place that limits character development.

I have to say that Sonic Prime definitely shows more of Sonic's feelings for her

Which I LOVE

And apparently Sonic Frontiers has hints of that too

I wish Sega would do ANYTHING with Sonic’s narrative. It’s like they want to but won’t fully commit.

But I do want more of their dynamics

Instead I’m left looking at like twenty distinct stories and wondering which is canon
