its fun in the same way kh is, in that it takes itself seriously with such a wild concept

but it actually makes fun of itself too

I always liked that about KH

KH pokes fun at itself but it doesn't like- lampshade like Marvel movies where they turn to the camera and DreamWorks Face at us with the script.

it does stuff ironically to clearly poke fun at itself and then Twitter bots think it's not intentional and rip on the writing LMAO

the most classic example being the heartless and nobodies concepts being opposite of what their names imply

huh, it was just a day or 2 ago that a guy in damo's server was saying he thought they'd be ending oo soon, and now it's been confirmed

personally, i enjoyed the original psp games, but nt just didn't do it for me. like yeah, it's technically the same basic system as the first games, but the whole 3v3 thing just kinda... made it not great for me, and that sucks considering all the additional characters that got added

oo was like, sure, if y'all want a turn-based game, but i want the arena fighter version. hopefully that's what they do next (seconded that they need to make a version that's not just "port what we used in the arcades over to consoles")

NT; something about it just felt- idk what the word is- unpolished? It just didn't feel like a full baked product

Something about the mechanics- like there were some other things I felt were low effort, and I'm not saying the PSP games were technical marvels but NT had something missing it felt like- it wasn't characters, and it wasn't skins it was something I couldn't put my finger on.

Nah NT looked like the same system but in no way was it at all. physics were entirely different, moves didnt do the same things, etc etc. thats why it was bad, not even the 3v3 aspect of it tbh

i'll take your word for it, limen. i honestly don't remember enough of my brief time with nt to know all of that (and i was probably too unfocused to even register it anyway, lol)

did the console version even have the same story as the arcade version? i remember seeing the new god/goddess for the godd/bad guys and all, but dammit all if i remember a story

i had over a thousand hours in 012, so i knew the engine really well. NT was like if a fan made a game that looked like Dissidia but didn't know how to make the same physics and such

it was so off putting to me that i couldn't even get a match in during the beta

i turned it off immediately lmao
