there's a video before FFXIV expansion launches where they display the new job abilities

and it's always fire

and it also creates huge drama every time

in the endwalker one they showed a movement speed buff ability on scholar and players doomposted that scholar is dead because of it. Now 2 years later it's one of the most impactful and broken abilities in the game because turns out a 10+ second movement speed buff for the entire party is really good LMFAO

I can't wait for the drama the dawntrail video will create

As an outsider you don't really see any of this drama because the same people bitching about the game will go "LOOK, HERE'S THE GREATEST GAME ON EARTH, AND THE BASE GAME INCLUDING THE FIRST EXPANSION IS FREE"
