tbf, i didn't get into ff until kh1, and even then, my first actual ff game was ff12 (followed by my cousin giving me ff10 later on)

See the kid wanted to play Diablo 1 but 2 was on sale, and they weren't good at Fallout 1, and their mom wouldn't let them have a Playstation for Christmas cause they didn't get good enough grades, so the kid found refuge with PC nerds who were growing tired of people talking about Final Fantasy and Wind Waker.

Tl;dr it's a good game don't listen to DaZ.
