I just don't get the logic wanting to be attached to a brand or plastic box by holding games hostage. It's super stupid

then competition shouldn't work like this

Apple products are so popular because of their eco system. You like one apple product, you will like them all and they will all work together with no issues. Android phones give you more options and tools to work with in a phone and you get more variety out of them than Apple.

It's the same with consoles. The exclusive games are what sells them other than stuff like COD.

The same logic can be applied to PC

The reason these games exist to begin with is because of their exclusivity.

It's not about "brand", it's not about "Sony" it's about Playstation, it's about the library, the unique identity
