yeah oId one piece had some great fights even though they weren't super animated

just some soIid hits, reaIIy good effects and background animation

they Ioooooved their debris

I really hope the remake doesn't go with the current style of animation and grounds it more

Which is such a weird thing to say about one piece because it's anything but grounded

I'd Iike it to evoIve as the manga did but idk if they' do that

It is fun to see the start of the One Piece anime and follow through and see how many art styles change it goes through

That's the most 3D I have seen of the show

Only four episodes in right now but so far them emulating the old show is done very well

The blend of 3d and 2d is absolutely amazing in ways that shouldnt be possible.

Episode 5 in particular is a major stahdout

He means the art and animation took a dip for a long time there

From the timeskip up until Dressrosa it really wasn't that good

It got a little better after that but it took until Wano before they did something better

hmm, i'm at dressrosa now

(well, toonami is anyway)

But then they went in the opposite direction where they made everything way too flashy

idk, i thought it really gave a good feeling based on what i read in the manga. it's the kind of thing you want from an adaptation

I somewhat agree on the art style, it's the sharpest it has looked

Although I do find the coloring a bit to bright

Zoro for some reason got his hair turned neon

But there's also the auras they added that I really despise
