I am honestly surprised that ps5 is the most successful gen when it shares being the worst one with the ps3

and idk if it's related but everything Sony has done this gen is very lackluster

the only "impressive" part are the load times

ps5 and ps3 have both the most ugly console design, the usability of the OS and its features on the ps5 are a downgrade compared to ps4, most games aren't that graphically impressive because chasing graphics is expensive

ratchet and clank rift apart is this gen the only game that impressed me and only because of the seamless transitions between the areas

Maybe they should try a real handheld again.

as soon as psn gets a desktop version that is linked to steam I will quit because the only thing that keeps me rn at playstation are my trophies lmfao

yeah honestly handheld seems to be the future. next gen will be as lackluster because games get more and more expensive

"hey you can play this game in 10k but it takes 8 years to get released"

and if they decide to scale down graphics it makes more sense to go handheld

or hybrid like nintendo
