i know it's not what you meant, but i wanna see a 100% original movie, like based on nothing that came before it, and it's just jam-packed with references to previous movies (which don't exist in our world since it's based on nothing in the past)

like, some random character gets a cameo and you as the audience are left to believe that this person must have some greater significance to the plot, but they're never mentioned again

obviously this film would be a comedy

    gotta say, i'm loving the creativity that some of these shows will incorporate into their characters. bizarro superman forcibly mutated into doomsday (superman and lois), dr. ivo becoming parasite (my adventures with superman), mixing clayface with the standard two-face storyline/characterization (the batman), it's all just whenthedarknessisjustright
