Quick resume is literally save states, you can resume from where you left at anytime

From anywhere

Even when tje console has been powered off

Yeah and ? You still might wanna continue from where you stopped. Its a very handy feature, you gotta use it first hand to see how useful it is

if only there were games on either consoles to fully utilize these console features

i understand your point

EXACTLY

😭😭😭

Gaming industry sucks rn

then its unnecessary, most games save all the time now, so you can launch in a few second and be back where you were anyway

nice qol tho

Yeah I agree with Noleen. The fast loading helps a lot with these now so it's kinda pointless

It's a nice thing to have if it's there though

on older games its probably more uselful

can you load back to a "quick resume save state" ?

Not pointless

some devs still love to fill bootup with their corporate logos so that feature would be nice to have even with the faster loading nowadays tbh

Yes thats the point

Wait

Ok no

like you firetruck up and reset to where you want ?

Nah

Its not a save state per se

Just quit wherever and whenever you want

Switch Games

Turn off the console

Send the game to another storage device

As long as you reboot it

You will be where you were
