One thing I am not a huge fan of is that each character has a link with the other character

Like, if it was just Rean it makes sense cause he's MC

But with the others it's like a huge gamble for how to get them to bond

not really a gamble, everyone gains after fights

but yeah it takes a while

goos luck getting characters who hate each other to link

story makes everyone linkable

initially some can't
