I really wish discussion would drop dead

People are acting like these games with high graphics somehow don't have gameplay

Like yeah some of them might focus on it too much like Hellblade 2 did but that is a rare occasion

Plenty of these graphical ones still have fun gameplay attached to them, it's not an either or thing

If anything Nintendo should start to put more into graphics and actually let developers work with better hardware

Yep Nintendo is basically on the opposite site of the same spectrum

I think the best way moving forward is no longer chasing graphics and keep ps5 the maximum. Focus on optimization and content instead

Well that'll never happen Otti, because Nintendo has conditioned it's audience and a lot of gaming at large, that the better the graphics the worse or less the gameplay.

We now have people who don't play games cause they look too good.

Yeah dead ass; best way to develop for the PS6 is cut down on dev time the best you can I think- i know the days of sick games taking 6 months to 1½ years are gone, but i totally think it's feasible to cut time down from 3-5 years down to 2-4; we're already better than the 4 era ehere it was 4-6, so, i think that should be their next focus.

But that still doesn't mean anything here. Developers take time with games because the creative process is getting bigger, not because hardware is getting better. Or else games like Tears of the Kingdom wouldn't have taken 6 years to come out and we probably would have had another 3D mario game after Odyssey.
