I got so done with AC when I heard that they killed off the main antagonist that transcends the entire timeline in a comic

I know right

Looks beautiful

Monolith gotta be damn near wizards

Switch 2 cant come any faster

Oh now y0u will

But like hows the combat

Turn based or what

Cooldown system

Actually wait, I am basing that off 1-3, not sure what X does

So like ff14

Sounds fun, tbh all that caught my eye were the mechs

They look awesome

It's a cool down system but in this one it has a bar that you can use abilities even though they are on CD. It's not unlimited though the bar lasts only through your current fight

Also you can fight in the air with the mech

strange, i hear non-british voices

autobIade

get it
cuz the game caIIed xenobIade is the one with british voices
subversion!

morgana not even trying to sound not-morgana

ess em ech

X2 had both american and british, and they kept that in 3 too

they even gave someone a sco**ish accent

Ooooo sounds cool ngl

Well the ship they used launched from America so yeah lol

Yeah i feel that a problem with a lot of current VAs which is lack of changing the pitch and sounding the same

Even sadly Ben Starr is that way

“I Iove youuuuu and aII you gauys”

He meant it

I mean that's honestly fine. Yuri Lowenthal sounds about the same in all his roles but the performance he gives makes a difference in them. Despite having the same "voice" as Sasuke and Spider-man, their performance is nothing alike.

I think the issue is that some of the VAs can't give a different performance or the direction is just kinda ass

What i don't like is that in English and Japanese it sounds like there's only 10 different VA's.

The amount of times I think someone in a Dub or Game is the same person cause they sound just like them but they're a completely different human being is annoying.

Say what you want about the quality of 90's and early 00's dubs at least those guys all sounded distinct.

I have a similar issue too

And for english ones it feels mostly to happen in dubbed over games, as in not the original language

Not even just games but anime too

I blame the voice directors more than the actual actors but still, it's frustrating

Many of them are very talented and they're being forced to fit a mold.

we're starting to get a greater number of voice actors that have an iconic voice and that's what any series/franchise starts to want them for. it's not like it has been in the recent past where the actors had to cast a wide net to get roles, and that's why you see some of these "same" voices more often now
