i actually noticed that when watching the trailer too, but it's not hard to believe superman can just "relax" enough when around humans (to not hurt them) and have that kinda reaction or something. I was expecting him to stay rock solid tho

yeah i have soem books for lessons too, it's just that there isn't much method to learn the kanas, duolingo was pretty fast for me

I also got the advice to unironically play the pixel remaster FF games in japanese

because their language is simple and they are therefore good to learn the language
