Im sure they have plenty for the throw away anime

You know how many of the same voices I hear from anime to games????

English dub voice acting has always been looked down on in this damn country- people who dont even speak Japanese and couldn't tell a phoned in performance from a bad one from a seiyu are like "I love how they scream~" meanwhile English ones work their asses off just to get told "Oh wow this is pretty good for a dub" when some of the times they outdo the Japanese ones in every way.

Like bruh just get new ass people

Its just a tough career but getting that one gig to change it is what a lot strive for

Like listen, i dont speak Japanese, not really, but do you know how many of those long time seiyus are barely even putting in effort?

You haven't answered my question

Why does Japan keep their va's forever

But English ones are expendable

Ima be honest I do not know cause that market is different

It makes English VA's, no matter how great they are; it prevents then from building a legacy, cause they can just be swapped out moments notice.

its like loyalty

Like dog Persona 3 Reload is a great example; half of the VA's from 3 were in OTHER Persona games! Other Atlus games!

And a lot of the performances from OG 3 compared to 3 were WAY better! No. No. I refuse and reject this mentality of English VA's basically getting firetrucked when it comes to job security.

theres a lot that goes into it, also califonia is the only state that has A.i. protections

I will say that there are a lot of poeple within the VA circle that are ass holes about having new people come in

Well they can go suc- cough hm, I mean they can honestly back the firetruck up

Anyways it's like that with any job industry

The old hate the newbies

It's nothing new

I will hope that the new people to voice P4 find success cause its going to help them

I mean yeah, I hope the new voice cast does well and all that and doesn't face too much backlash on being cast

But the issue still is the original got replaced

They could have done new casting for a new Persona game, for example

Lets be real dude so many just switch it to JP voices anyway

So why replace the VA that had ties with P4?

you dont understand how much it bugs me when a game would have great voice acting yet mfs still switch to JP

Who cares if people switch dubbings, the issue isn't magically gone

then why tf are you advocating for English VA's to be replaced then???

Am I missing something here?

Is there a Link, that i am Missing?

im not saying that man lol

it is what it is

and the new folks will do their thing

also we dont know the plan in the longg run of why they are doing this

But you said "personally im all for the English cast getting replaced to bring in up and coming talent, look at Ben Starr you firetruckin ignoramus."

hey, Ottland yard, be cool 😔

2 soon.
