I dont see why devs and companies dont understand that both can co exist

We've pushed realism as far as it can go, lets find a balance again

"Realism" in the PS2 era meant immersion and attention to detail, not photo-realism-- we need to get back to that fantasticalness sense of scale again.

Hopefully Ace Attorney will be next at some point

it mostly has to do with trend chasing

"oh they made a game thats so popular lets do that exact thing"

[i]my[/i] opinions always been they think that's what gamers want + it's good marketing

now im not saying thats only for realistic games but gameplay too with souls being a perfect example

I have no problem with realistic looking games but when the AAA market was just flooded with the same look all the time it got tiring. at least some games like FF stylize it to a extent

AAA games and Realistic games are similar but not the same
