I also hope they don't downplay Kratos' character too

His progression from nuanced to psycho from 1 to 3 was really good shit and is crucial to the Norse games.

I wouldn't mind toning it down a little bit but it all depends on what and when they do it

I have issues with Sons of Sparta tho- for one the UI is entirely from the Norse games, like the menus, and the writing doesn't have the same air to it as the Greek games; with the way characters talk

So my hopes are iffy right now.

Its still a fun game overall

And does give Kratos some nice characterization pre-murdering his family

I don't dislike the writing with Kratos for the most part- hearing T.C. voice him in a way similar to God of War 2005 was a treat.

I always saw Kratos in the norse saga as a counter to all the alpha male culture

Its a great redemption arc, it works, and it works when you see how bad he was and how genuine he is now

reminds of when they removed that part of sakas growth about women in avatar live action

Its not simple and clean - its messy and complicated

Its like Usopp in live action One Piece. Yeah I guess he isn't a sniveling coward but you also took out all his important parts that makes his character work.
