North Horn is really interesting because it's the first time since Eureka Pagos where they explore verticality in map design again

I'm just glad to actually get something because I don't know if I just severely misunderstand what this content is supposed to be but did we really have to wait literally the whole expansion cycle to get a second area of / adding on to the initial zone

I guess that was that I do want to do that stuff eventually but I just haven't well been playing 14 but I haven't played games much at all these past months.

Probably because of fan fest but I've gotten the energized to get really back into 14 again so I'm doing that

I've been playing since ARR and XIV is right now in the best possible state it probably has ever been. Straight up the majority of content is excellent and the story very interesting. It's right now a good time to come back

The insane negative reception of DT also kind of killed my drive for 14 for a bit. Personally I really loved it I was excited to have wuk Lamont as a new Final Fantasy protagonist in the series fandom Beating the story then going to share that enjoyment excitement was a huge buzz kill interacting with the community and just became miserably unfun.

I'm late on the earlier conversation but Type-0 deserves a proper remake because the story was great imo and i really wish Type-Next wasn't scrapped
