1FM was an expensive DLC

1.5 is a remaster though, it's just some better textures and such

If they do still have the source code from the original psp release, if they are able to transcript it to the current engine and make sure the physics are adapted properly, they could certainly reuse animations and camera angles, the models are a bit trickier since it's possible that they redid the textures and updated the models but still kept the base skeleton from the original game thus keeping the animations pretty much dead on

I think the thing with CCF is that it's a remaster for the most part. It's adding in some new models and textures to update it (and a new voice cast) but it's not doing anything else.

Like if we use Resident Evil 1 and the remake then there are differences between the games from more than just model updates and textures, the gameplay is different too

Isn't that technically what they did with the KH1 remaster? Cause the original ps2 thing got corrupted or whatever?

They used an old copy to scramble for it though if I remember right

Yeah they still had bits and pieces lying around from older versions that they used and built off of

Agreed on that aspect that one did things that made it a remake in its own right. Here it feels like that psp compilation of Castlevania Dracula X chronicles, where it has a completely remastered version of Rondo of Blood, just with new character models, voices, and cutscenes added in, so for the case of CCR it feels just like that in a sense.

Although rewatching the CCF trailer again it does look like the gameplay is a bit different. Mostly in the normal combos, it seems more tighter now and the camera angle is much better.

But the core aspect of it, in this case the pachinko system, is still there

Yeah some adjustments like D2: Ressurection, but overall like Type 0-HD just using the Remakes art direction and voice actors so it could easily tie in with it. Now it also said in the trailer it's still under development, so they might change somethings by then so we'll see

I think there's a chance they might change the ending a bit, or even add a completely new scene just so it ties better into the remake

They are re-doing all the voices so it has to be there for a reason

Unlock an alternate ending for the

last stand|| I bet, maybe Zack gets to fight a ||Whisper

as a secret last boss

I still think he died at the end and the remake is just twisting the whole thing up to bring more discussion to it

 

If there are any extra added scenes then I think it might be

something to do with Aerith or showing Zack in the lifestream as a set up for Rebirth

 

I wonder if we will see Cissnei and Dr. Hollander in the second trailer🤔

they're gonna do a split timeliness but forget about it.|| Like, ||sure Zack lives, in A timeline but we don't see it. It's just 'oh he lives in a continuity. Or rather....

 

 

I think it's retconning Compilation's continuity.

See, I don't get he point of

multiple timelines. What's the idea here, they converge and Aerith and Zack get a happily ever after? You get the same outcome showing they are in the lifestream together and it fits in with FF7's overall set up regarding the Lifesttream

 

If that is what it ends up being then I hope it's done really well

Maybe they are pulling off a

KH4 Quadratum with the FF7R lifestream in this continuity

fanservice, plus, potential business opportunities

the fanservice is them counting on fans going "awwwww Zacky-Wacky is alive 😭😭😭😭 yaaay" and then, they'll take time, listen to feedback, and then maybe down the line a 'crossover' happens, and maybe the timeliness merge or intersect, to set up the finale in some way

 

 

or its an elaborate attempt to just set up multiple playable characters lol idk
