They even updated the demo after feedback

Honestly I preferred the demo for 15 to the final product, combat wise.

It had a really interesting system going that they completely abandoned

Seven remake kind of brought some of that back at least with skills

i hope 16's combat has its own identity, because just based off of that trailer, it's heavy DMC

almost identical in how it looks

I am a bit worried it's going to be too much DMC and not enough jrpg

the setting is my favorite thing so far

since this is something i've wanted for so long, ever since 13 was a thing

aside from my personal issues, there's stuff like how the party is gonna be like if there even is a party

I don't really mind having a solo Adventure but a party would be neat

It's looking like the main character has different combat types with summon abilities

I assume those are your jobs

I'm expecting a final fantasy 5 Bravely Default / 14 system

Each job is its own completely different combat type

or each ekion

I feel your pain, Goldy. Turn-based combat is really a lost art. Though, it's good to see games like Octopath Traveler and Persona Q2 are still innovating on it.

That's where I trust the indie scene and Bravely Sam, they got those nailed down

Atlus too, like with The Alliance Alive HD

also a slight concern i have though it doesn't seem too bad here based off what they've shwon

I think that's just for reveal trailer purposes we don't even have a hud

The final product is definitely going to be looking different gameplay they just wanted to be flashy for a trailer
