ends with Peter redoing the spell after causing the death of Aunt May and nearly getting MJ killed. He sacrifices every single relationship he’s ever had to regain his secret identity. He has no friends or family anymore. He’s just a poor, lonely guy without access to billionaire Big Brother technology or corporate jets. He finally chooses personal responsibility over the desire to “have it all”. The movie ends with him saying goodbye to Aunt May at her gravesite, then walking into the sunset and finally becoming the Spider-Man we recognize from past incarnations. No more connection to Mcu characters like Strange, Iron Man etc, etc.
