I think we need to realise that our beloved franchise is unfortunately not as important to Disney and Square as we would like to have. Disney is releasing a ton of other IPs year after year and Square does the same. Disney is releasing every year new Star Wars, Marvel or other Disney content. And you have almost every year a new Final Fantasy game. But this is not the case for Kingdom Hearts.
