Me personally I'd love to see him slowly sinking into this feeling of doubt through the game that he'll never see home again. BUT THEN WHAM kairi and riku show up a bit too late and have a duo fight against sora to save him from the super darkness or something

Like soras on the precipice of conforming to the darkness in quadratum

Then they have a destiny island trio boss fight against the big bad

But plot twist the big bad is but the weakest form of conciousness to the true darkness

And it will take sora and crew going beyond the boundaries of life and death itself to find them
