Yozora should be in the final boss fight in some way because KH secret bosses were always involved in some way in the final boss fight

Well we still don't know what could happen to someone in Sora's position yet if they get hurt too badly. We do see Strelitzia and Sigurd very afraid when they're cornered. It's possible that if they die again in Quadratum they'll be erased for good like you said. That or maybe something even worse will happen to you like in FF13 if you're a Lcie that fails a mission? I'm very intrigued by all this since I like Norse mythology and this is weirdly reminding me of Vahallha.
