I've said for years (oh god it has in fact been years) that KH4 feels poised to be a darker kinda story, theres elements in place that feel ripe for applying darker and deconstructive elements to the franchise.

I want Sora to go through super dark times and come out on the other side- still his optimistic self but noticeably grown from it

It feels like sora "growing up" in multiple usages of the word, is a conscience decision on Nomura's part. KH has never been one to be stagnant so I think theres some real growth that could happen for him.

It's been getting increasingly darker with each game yeah. Which I've given props for. Just wish... um... nevermind 🤐
