Why do people want this, I genuinely don't get it. Why would you want this instead of an actual finished story you get in one go?

Its not our fandom anymore.
Burnt out millenials like us aren't in charge of the fandom. Now Kingdom Hearts have younger, fresher perspectives, where they don't complain about multiple releases on multiple consoles still years after the fact, or make the same dumb Donald jokes, or pretend the Disney shit doesn't matter and shouldn't be taken seriously when analyzing the story.
Course not all of them wanted a phone game its not about it being a phone game its about it being Kingdom Hearts.
im still mad KH dark road was short lived
theres a lot of content missing from young xehanort to MX
we got the expedited edition
