The only thinf I could see happening is the main villian spot is plot twist Luxu or Yozora

Yozora, Aegis and Magia are the final bosses of KH4

The reason why Donald and Goofy are playable is because each character will get a 1vs1 section in the final boss fight against their respective counterpart.

Then we fight a 3vs3

And after that we kill all three of them which is a meta commentary of Nomura on getting over his Versus 13 grief by putting his old ideas to rest

Granted I am not that afraid of his design changing. It seems to be a staple for KH games to let the secret bosses still look like that in their game. Xemnas in KH1 and 2, Lingering Will in KH2 and BBS, Mysterious Figure in BBS and DDD.

They did for KH3

The keyblade graveyard fights in KH3 were a first attempt to test 3vs3 fights

That was because of the long wait and they were too hyped with showing the game

I'm gonna be honest I don't understand the point of having KH4 be Vs 13 lol like unless they're gonna do something weird and meta I don't understand the point of having all these allusions to Vs/15 when there's a risk it might not be anything more than surface level fanservice/references
