Yeah but like if you only prefer one or the other, there’s much better options. A game is more than just the sum of its parts.

It doesn’t effect you, so why do you care? People enjoy what they enjoy, just let them be.

I care because it BAFFLES me. I just don’t get it!

The problem arises when these fans become extremely vocal and invade the spaces of people who don't adhere to their likes.

And there’s also that

Same here brother.

Or you're those people that harrasses Jake Lloyd into insanity.

I’ve said it before but if you’re so dismissive of KH to vocalize your dislike for it at every opportunity, the door is that way, buddy.

I think people should be able to voice their dislike tho- I love KH but there's some issues I take with it

There's a difference between that and just actively hating it.

For instance, DaZ just barely scrapes that line with Sonic lol but being his friend I know he doesn't hate it, you know?

hi l'm here

what's up

sonic?

where

have l mentioned how much l need more gamepIay of KH4

l need to see the UE5

now

but snaaaakkkeee

fffffffffffffffiiiiiiiiiiiiinnnnnnneeeeeee

the onIy hate of KH l wiII justify is of the genuineIy poorIy done things
particuIarIy on the gamepIay front cuz oof there's some things to taIk about in some games

There’s a difference between voicing your dislike and criticizing for the sake of criticizing. And I’ve seen the latter far too often in this fandom.

criticizing for the sake of criticizing sounds Iike things such aaaass
ah
no capes in BBS

'twas a hardware Iimitation, so oh weII

fin.

Because if you want to play that game, HOO BOY do I have a list of nitpicks for KH2.

but criticizing that wouId mean things such as "it's so inconsistent with their other appearances l can't"

oh dear

I refrain because I know people like it and I see it as a generally good game regardless, but I could go there if I really wanted to.

I mean if you're voicing your critisim from a place of genuine, constructive care- people can read that, they can feel that

But if it's from a cynical malicious place, like the 5 hour KH3 was a waste of effort video, that's what rubs people the wrong way.

l'm sure that video has genuineIy good points
but 5 hours

Nah, that video was the waste of effort.

Seriously, five hours?

I still can’t believe that video exists. How much do you have to hate a game to make something that long?

Not to mention the amount of time put into editing the damn thing.

sureIy you can make your point in IiteraIIy a quarter of that time

And that’s what I’m opposed to: petty disliking born out of malice

Like I respect the effort

But it comes from a place of disdain lol

I did watch it. There are good points
