My reasoning, and this is completely juvenile but, eh, people appreciate honesty; I miss the days of getting a KH gave every 2-4 years

Granted it only happened like, 4 times lol, but, they gave us enough stuff to keep us engaged and it expanded the story in mostly meaningful ways

I felt/feel that, since there's no handhelds to make anything on anymore, and making something KH3 sized clearly takes 4 years minimum, smaller scale games would be a good way to keep the series relevant/in people's minds, and again, give them more freedom to screw around, instead of delegating it all to either phone games or the next big release.

I don't feel they should keep utilizing the PS2 assets; I think it holds the series back from truly modernizing, and to some, it would probably come off as lazy.

For the record I like Melody and I like the Chi saga as a story but, I also feel this way too

But now one is mobile and the other is slaving away on kh4

no i get where you're coming from. my response is more so, they don't have to make those games 0.2 sized to fill in the gaps. they can still be full sized and take those gaps up just the same, but that's a pipe dream unfortunately
