I feel like one of the main reasons why the game is so easy is because they absolutely broke some parts of the game.

being able to throw items is broken

especially the new ones

Not even the gleekos are hard

most of my deaths are fall damage

me in the double digits of deaths caused by me mixing up the dive and glide buttons on the way down

The control scheme in this game is just bizarre in general

I don't know why jump and attack are so far from each other

I had to switch up the controls completely just to make it feel good

I honestly can't believe that people unironically gave this game 10/10 ratings when:

The main story is unfortunately so far the average Zelda game story which means it's terrible. I expected more from a game franchise where the prequel sold 30 million times. Also terrible dialogue

Almost no voice acting. Even parts of the main story aren't even fully voiced which is crazy because the game doesn't really have that much dialogue so expecting full voice acting is the absolutely minimum.

Absolutely no accessibility options.

This game has like BotW probably the worst UI in terms of usability I have ever seen and it's genuinely dogshit and the antithesis of fun. The fact that they tested this game and thought it's fine that you have to scroll through menus the entire time is absolutely unbelievable 💀

The music is hit or miss.

The combat is still bad. Also somehow they killed parry as a mechanic because you no longer really have ranged enemies like the guardians in BotW and dodging is almost always the better option due to it not really relying on perfect inputs.

They added all these amazing cosmetics and a dye system and no transmog system?

The good stuff:

The puzzles in this game absolutely shit on every previous game because they allow more player expression due to all the new systems like ultrahand, throwable items and ascend.

No motion control bullshit so far. (honestly the most surprising thing lmao)

The world design is absolutely amazing and it's so addicting to hunt for new shrines.

More focus on cosmetic items and better rewards.

Better reward structure. Heart containers and stamina vessels no longer have only story dungeons and shrines as a source. Also the currency system in the depths is cool.

The sage abilities are cool.

I really liked the wind temple. The build up and boss fight was amazing and it was actually so good that it shits on most of the dungeons in the previous games.

Most of the sidequests I have done so far are also genuinely good which is surprising

Not gonna elaborate on how terrible the game looks because it's the fault of the switch and not the devs

I would rate the game a 8/10 so far and it's probably my favorite Zelda

Oh and another positive:

Ganondorf is hot

which changes the score to a 9.9/10

while i don't fully agree with some of your cons, i also don't think it deserves 10/10 either lol. definitely an amazing game for what it is though, and the most fun I've had in a while with a single player game. I'm not even close to done but so far I would be okay with giving it a 9 for me

this sidequest is the perfect example of short and basic but super effective. I can't believe how good the sidequests are in this game currently

But nah I'm gonna head to Zora's Domain now since I've collected a shit ton of strong materials

yeah i was at 10 hearts and 2 full stamina wheels before i did my first of the main 4 objectives lol

I'm moving into my second one with 15 hearts and the first notch of wheel 3

I only have 1 dungeon, 2 stamina bars and 13 hearts and had a peak fiction moment

which happened to me by accident and can't tell because it's a major spoiler
