Apparently the final game still runs at 50 fps in exploration and 60 in combat

so it is graphics mode for me then

square enix can be so firetrucking happy that starfield has this 30 fps thing currently going on where people are now defending that it's fine if a game only can run in 30 fps

just weird that they didn't go for a 120 hz and 40 fps performance mode instead. People seem to be fine with that

thats actually really good for performance

if performance mode really has rtx on for some weird reason this framerate is really impressive

they want to have graphic detail but make sure combat is smooth

If I wouldn't get motion sickness from it I would definitely agree. It's not that bad

wont lie i would like an option like insomniac gives us but seems like either a patch down the line could fix that or they wanted the rtx and tried doing what they did

it's just unbelieveable how they take unnecessary risks with rtx

if rtx in performance mode is a thing this game would easily run in 60 fps with rtx turned off

i feel we`ll get some patches tho to address this

but right now a stable 60 and stable 50 is fine
