I heard a rumor that Nomura doesn't like how his writing with KH has increasingly gotten more policed by the higher ups lol

Apparently, he's not a fan of having Co writers for the main scenariosm

I believe in the case of Ishibashi it seems like a choice. He's friends with the TWEWY team

I think he's talking about Disney being on his neck rather than co-writers

he can write good stories. He has already proven it with KH1 and KH2 + days

So that's the interesting thing,

Disney, minus what's in Disney Worlds, is fairly hands off. They're of the mindset "pffft firetruck dude let him do what he wants it works lol"

Apparently, Square higher ups want Nomura's writing to be more digestible.

yeah the only time he's run into issues so far with Disney is when he asks for a specific world so that its themes match what his writing is going through but they refuse or only agree with watchful eyes

it's Square higher ups that are trying to make it "easier" lol

It's ironic isn't it? Kingdom Hearts is the one thing Disney is apart of where they aren't the hard ones to work with 😂

Sure they can be a bit unreasonable with a few things but compared to square it's night and day.

Problem is, Nomura is too tied to too many projects and isn't quite a Kojima Auter to try and go independent. I don't think he even wants to, but

yeah as much as the general audience loves to pin everything bad on him, I'm sure he's fine sitting where he is and getting the projects he wants to work on

like i know it affects him mentally but at the same time he loves the projects he works on at SE so why leave

the only way i see him leaving is if they just fire him and take his work or smthn

also last i heard, square internally knows hes an asset at this point so they've given him more freedom to choose projects and helping hands and such so he isnt overworked anymore

It's so firetruckin weird cause they've treated him so passive aggressively, so hot and cold, but they need him, and they rely on him, not just for KH, but so much other shit too.

I said this to someone on Twitter once who was like "bah Nomura this, Nomura that, his writing his character design blah blah blah" and I'm like,

"This doesn't absolve him of criticism, but, everything he does = buys lmao"

first playthrough finished, this was the most final fantasy i've seen in a single game

the bads in no way outweight the good, such a great game

I have been complaining a lot in this channel but I do agree it's still a good game

There's just some baffling decisions every now and then, which would be fine if it was just once or twice but they do stack up

i'm just really bad at parrying

hope it's not required in FF difficulty
