I'm only in chapter 2 but I had a question about side quests and the affinity system that no one has answered for me lol

Okay I went up. It works by sidequests and the choices you make when talking to them at certain points.

There are some more stuff that can define it but you will see it when you get there, it's just small segments for you to choose or do

and you should choose wisely Coleman

Also synergy skills (R1 button) is a good thing to use to build atb between two characters

gotcha, for sidequests, should I have whoever is relevant in my party when I do it? Also is it just a neutral to like to love kinda system or is it more dynamic where characters will not like you if you do certain thing with one person over the other

Sidequests is hard coded on characters

So it doesn't matter who is in your party, it will just bring out a character or two for them

Anytime I see you or daz use my actual name, I get jumpscared
