I hope they fix the awful writing regarding the scene with the rocket

party removes the big materia in the rocket and after that there's some dialogue where they say "Seems like Rufus' plan letting the rocket with the materia collide didn't work" and I was just sitting there and yelling "of course it didn't work because you dumbfiretrucks removed the materia and we had an empty rocket colliding with meteor"

my boi rufus got robbed of his moment

the entire thing with the big materia was honestly completely pointless

it didn't add anything to the story at all. It was just there so people don't complain about not having 4 crystals in the game

sheira doesn't really matter in the first visit

the first visit only has this one scene where cid is an asshole towards her

rocket town 2 will be definitely in part 3 because it plays after city of the ancients

but yeah it could also mean that we meet him earlier
