in heavensward raiding got almost killed because the first raid tier was too hard and the dev team took a break because they were still burned out from ARR development. Also class balance was non existent. devs got even death threats for the BRD rework

And stormblood got hated because the main story wasn't that great and the class balance sucked + postgame content was too grindy and awful 💀
