I have been hearing a lot of wierd rumors that Roxas is actually Riku's Nobody so i need some further clearification on this one. When Sora was turned into a Heartless in Kingdom Hearts 1, a Nobody was born because he had a strong heart. So in Kingdom Hearts 2, Roxas can be played as and he frequently has flashbacks if his past and Sora's past. That must mean that Roxas is his Nobody for they both wield the Kingdom Key instead of Riku's keyblade, the Soul Eater. But Riku was also turnrd into a Heartless once he allowed Ansem(Xehanort's Heartless) to take over his body. Does that mean that because Riku's also a keyblade wielder, there is a possiblity that Roxas is Riku's Nobody. But since Roxas and Axel were best friends much like Sora and Riku. Axel may be Riku's Nobody as well. I need to know who is Riku and Sora's Nobodies

Riku never turned into a Heartless, and therefore he doesn't have a Nobody. Ansem gave Riku's heart the boot and sent it into the Realm of Darkness. That doesn't qualify as "losing your heart to the darkness," the requirement for producing Heartless. Roxas was never implied to be Riku's Nobody, but it's not like there are any hints towards it anyways. Axel is Lea's Nobody. Lea. The kid who looks just like Axel except younger in Birth by Sleep. As with Roxas, there are absolutely no signs of Axel being Riku's Nobody either.

Roxas is Sora's Nobody with Ven's heart, which is why he looks like Ven and his name is Sora with the letters mixed around plus an X. Axel is the Nobody of Lea, who met Ven in BBS when he and Isa (Saix) were friends in Radient Garden. Riku doesn't have a Nobody, since he never lost his heart. He just got possessed by Ansem SoD. Also, Soul Eater isn't a Keyblade. It's just a sword made from Riku's darkness that ends up turning into the Way To Dawn Keyblade.

Well, I can't blame him for being one of many to be living in the dark these past... 5 years or so. It could be worse. He could've been asking if we thought BHK would win in the Keyblade War or when Ansem would rejoin with Sora (no really, I've met someone who did ask that).

Actually, Roxas is ONLY Sora's nobody. He isn't in any way related to Riku. And Riku didn't technically turn into a heartless, his heart would have to be consumed and be colse to the darkness for that to happen. Ansem SoD is actually Apprentice Xehanort's heartless. He took over and possessed Riku's body.And Axel isn't really Riku's nobody at all. He's actually the nobody of Lea. So Riku doesn't have a nobody.

The only way for nobodies to actually have the same appearence as their former selves is if they have a strong enough heart after that person's heart turned into a heartless, it really depends on how strong that heart is. Vexen/Even made a good example of that throughout the series.

The bolded was because I was considering the possibility that Apprentice Xehanort's mess of a heart might play into the equation, similar to how Ven's heart in Sora affected Roxas' appearance.

Riku has a strong heart. He's also a wielder. It's a guarantee that he'll be able to retain his human form, hence, why I didn't even consider the possibility that he would take the form of a lesser Nobody.

Not some. ALL OF US. It's been over 4 years since KH2 came out, and to be honest, if we were misinformed, we most certainly would've cleared it up by now. Otherwise, that would be really embarrassing D:

 

Riku does not have a Nobody. He has never lost his heart to the darkness. Ansem Seeker of Darkness is the Heartless of Apprentice Xehanort. During the later parts of KH1, Ansem had taken over Riku's body and ejected Riku's own heart into the Realm of Darkness, causing Riku's body to reshape itself to take on his appearance. After Sora, Donald, and Goofy defeated him, Ansem SoD (the heart of Apprentice Xehanort) along with Riku's body and soul, rejoined with Riku's heart in the Realm of Darkness.

 

At the end of the battle with Roxas at the end of Days, Riku tapped into the power within Apprentice Xehanort's heart to gain some of his power, thereby causing him to take on Ansem SoD's appearance.

 

That's... the explanations for all of the possible confusion you may have come up with. At least I hope.

No, Riku isn't the nobody of Ansem SoD in any way. The only nobody counter-part Ansem SoD does have is Xemnas. Riku never really lost his heart to begin with. Sure his heart succumbed ito t, but was never lost. Ansem SoD only took over Riku's body and just pushed Riku aside.

 

@Reversal, Yeah, but I doubt that Riku will turn into a heartless though since he can use it more maturely than he used to back in KH1. It seems kind of a low possibility for that to ever happen to him. But just my opinion though^^.

You can't "automatically" become a Nobody just by harboring someone else's heart. That means nothing. Nobodies are created when strong hearted people become Heartless. Did Riku become a Heartless? No. That's simple enough, right?

I think I read somewhere that, in an interview, Nomura said that Roxas, Namine, and Axel are all "special" Nobodies and actually have 2 Somebodies. Not sure whether to believe it or not (so don't take my word for it, lol), but it sounds possible (since Namine is actually half of Kairi and Sora and Roxas is Sora and Ven...I think ).

 

That being said, Roxas still definitely isn't Riku's Nobody. ._.
