well, then I'm probably gonna get kicked from plenty of fights then

you shouldn't be lower than 18k dps as a vpr

I died once during ex 1

and still did 20k dps

I am mostly talking about vpr players that do less damage than the tanks

or that do less damage than physical ranged

can no longer make up for low dps in dawntrail content because it's a lot harder

so more dps players are getting filtered

I have never seen a class that is that easy

viper is completely braindead

to the point where the designers should feel embarassed

ha so it's just because its too easy

yeah basically

if you don't care about job difficulty this is a W

but this also makes bad vipers look even worse

I am personally not a fan of modern XIV job design

simplifying things made the game more toxic

because now there's the expectation that everyone can play everything immediately

the raid buff windows is also firetrucked up too

in the first 15 seconds of a fight you can tell immediately now if your dps players suck

this shit did more damage to the game than any dps meter

i think the problem is more about people expectations

You can't blame them when you know it's the games fault and not the gamers

people have been pointing the issues out for 3 expansions now and SE doesn't do anything about it

instead we have to wait for the next expansion now

"we are gonna fix it in the expansion after dawntrail"

I really firetrucking hope the game gets harder again

because my god

it's just insanely cringe design when you have easy classes and then you lose 3-6% of dps because one asshole in your group doesn't buff their raidbuff in the right moment

in a certain way it's like stagger in mainline ff games

all 120 seconds you get a window

where everyone buffs the entire party with their buffs

and if just one person firetrucks it up you lose massive dps

because the buffs stack with each other

Isn't this being no better then when people were salty when FS made Radahn easier?...

ffxiv has a reversed problem

people get made because the game is already easy

people get mad because the game is already easy

if the game would be harder people would complain less

because your entire expectation changes

if the jobs would be harder people would be less mad about firetruck ups of others

it's why black mages get a pass for everything

I am talking about players that join a farm group of people who already cleared multiple times

yep

If I want to learn my class I usually go into practice groups

it's actually neat that the game allows to flag "practice" and "farm"

purpose of farm is that you clear bosses as fast as possible while avoiding deaths

I had a viper in my group yesterday that died 6-7 times

and then I asked him why he died so much

and then I got ignored

and kicked him

it's super shitty towards the entire group

because people like this want to play a single player game. They absolutely do not care about how the rest of the group feels
