I'm just curious on everyone's POV on 'crazy/wild' hair colours like blue, green, pink, etc. I've had my share of ridiculous hair colours, and everyone seems to have a different opinion; it's a distraction, it's cute, it's weird, it's ugly, and there's always the 'poser' comments and such.

So what's your opinion? c:

Oh, and I'm not sure if this fits in general. It doesn't really fit anywhere else though. But if it's wrong, then mods feel free to move it. ^^

I really don't have an opinion. I think it depends on the person. If someone died their hair red to look like Rihanna, then I'd say it was silly and poser-ish. That's not who they really are. If someone decided they really liked the idea of blue hair and thought it'd been fun to have--just because they wanted it--then I think it's alright.

I, personally, would never die my hair an odd shade, but yeah. xD

That's a good opinion. c: I pretty much feel the same. Sometimes my hair colours are inspired by other people, but I don't do it to be like them, really. Like I dyed part of my hair blue after I watched Scott Pilgrim, cause I really liked Ramona's hair, but I didn't do it to be like her.~

I don't mind people having different colored hair...I just mind when it looks like they are wearing a clown wig.

I saw a girl in Washington D.C. that had about 10 different colors in her hair. That, in my opinion, is a no no. Multi-colored hair people make my eyes hurt.

It depends lol. Not all colors look good on everyone. xD Though the only time it really bugs me is when people get a whole bunch of different ones (they usually end up looking really ugly and messy together, imo ._.)

Yeah, I couldn't agree with you two more.

I also don't like it when people dye their hair an unnatural colour and never take care of it. Especially when it grows out and looks all faded/streaky and gross.

It all depends in my opinion. If they genuinely like the style and/or are role/cosplaying then I'm fine with it. Although it seems to me that a lot of people these days do it to grab attention. Attention whoring is probably the thing I hate the most.

On me personally, I know I would despise my hair any other color than my natural color.

But as for others, as long as they take care of their hair and don't do anything crazy, like make it multi-colored as one person has said above, then I'm fine with even the more unnatural colors. But also for me, it depends on the person and their reasons for doing it. Overall though, I'm pretty okay with random hair colors.

I love the different colors people wear in their hair; It only depends HOW you wear it.

For example, there's a sophomore with natural dark hair. However, she has at least four different colors-- dark blue, dark green, dark red, and dark orange. They aren't even styled, but more plopped on top of another, like she didn't care.

I like my own hair colour (Combination of black/brown)

But I'm fine with other hair colours as long as its dark ._.

I LOVE vibrant colours...! [/shot]

But, yeah, it kind of does depend on if the colour suits you, if you don't go overboard and use too many at once, and if you take care of it. I'm naturally an auburny dark brunette, but I've been dyeing streaks in for years- reds, blues, purples- just never more than one colour at a time. I kept the dyed portions totally blonde for a few months, and I coloured back over it the other week after my school threatened to suspend me.

It's only semi permanent dark dye, though, so there is still lighter chunks to my hair. Now i just have to worry about them growing out.

But, yeah. I think they can look awesome if you use them right and take care with it- and so long as it's not just to gain attention or copy a celebrity. I cannot COUNT how many horrible chavvy girls in my school have dyed their hair to "look like Cheryl Cole", and it's ALL that same, dark red Kairi kind of colour. I'm already sick of it, bleh. It's only annoying because it's so unoriginal.

When I see pink in someone's hair it actually agitates me. I don't hate the person though, just the hair color. I also don't like other bright colors, then again that's just me. I'd go for the dark greens, azure, dark blue or pale blue like Zexion, and definately red and black because those are fricken' AWESOME :D

Aww, I'm dying my hair a pinkish red shade soon. Sorry to hear people wouldn't like it. ;;

anyway, I'm glad this thread has so much good opinion. owo It seems like everyone is dying their hair red or brown right now, kind of like Rosie said. >< But thankfully, I'm one of the few people in my grade who has black hair. For some reason it must not be a well-liked colour.

But yeah, I hate it when people have more than one colour unless it looks really really good, like a coon stripe or something with colours that match, not like bright orange and dark green stripes, blegh.

My best friend has been dying her hair 'crazy' colors for a couple of months now. And I envy her. lol

I really don't mind people with bright or crazy hair colors as long as they kept their hair clean and such.

I want to dye my hair but my parents would never let me.. I am also kind of scared the dye will damage my hair because I put it on wrong or something. xD

I'm lame.

I do not like it when someone dye their hair with more than three colors, it just doesn't(to me anyway) look good.

Yeah, it looks tacky. D8

And crazy colours can be damaging if you bleach your hair to much to get that hair colour, but that's about it. Hair dye in itself isn't too harmful. C:

well theres people actually born with wierd collerd hair

one of my friends was born with white-ish silver-ish hair and red eyes (not even lying)

and theres actually people born with aqua or kairi hair

it is rare though

I always thought anime pink, blue, and green were crazy hair colors. I've seen one girl at my college with pink hair, I tried not to laugh. ;3

I don't mind any just regular old color, but I hate people who have like 7 or 8 different colors dyed on their hair.

I'm a boy soall I can say is that pink and red look good on blond girls

That girl lost a bet to her hair dresser LOL.
