Alright, I'm aware of the events of KH1 all the way up to BBS, but with the unveiling of final mix things are starting to get confusing, and with DDD and BBS volume II, its only getting worse. What confuses me more than anything is the "Xehanort Family" (saw someone else coin the term, liked it so i'll use it.). The Xehanort family is Master Xehanort, Terranort, Ansem the Seeker of Darkness and Xemnas. maybe i'm missing someone?? idk theres like 50 xehanorts floating about.

 

Can someone please explain who has whos heart/memories and what not? Because apparently someone has terras heart but was defeated by sora, so Terras memories and MX's memories are divided somewhere? I haven't been this confused since the Series Finale of Lost and Inception.

 

So basically, this format would be ideal:

 

MX:

Terranort:

Xemnas:

Ansem TSD:

If only it were that simple to explain. I'll try my best. D=

 

Terranort= MX's heart, Terra's heart and body, Eraqus' heart

MX= Old fart, the original Xehanort

Ansem SoD= Heartless of Terranort

Xemnas= Nobody of Terranort

 

When Terranort spit into a Nobody and a Heartless, it was like any other person getting split up. Body on one side, heart on the other.

 

Hopefully that's right? If not, anyone is welcomed to correct me, though I am very sure about what I said all made up Terranort.

Mx: master xehanort's heart (h) body (b) soul (s)

Terra: Terra's hbs (later contains eraqus's heart in terra's heart)

aprentice xehanort/terranort: Terra's hbs (with eraqus) with his heart inside xehanorts heart.

Lingering spirit: Terra's armor + Terra's mind

Ansem sod: Eraqus' heart in Terra's heart in mx's heart consumed by darkness (later gains riku's body, see the parralelism) with some memories of terranort and is influenced by what makes up terranort

Xemnas: Terra's body and soul influenced by Terranort and the original people of Terranort. Has most of his memories.

Ansem SoD/TSD/whatever: the way i see it, this form most closely resembled MX, in the fact that both used darkness, and both, imo, had the most similar goals in their search of KH. this form wanted KH for its darkness, to flood all worlds in it. MX wanted KH for both its light AND its darkness, to get a repeat of the keyblade war going and fulfill his curiosity as to what would come from the battle. so case in point, they're both searching for the darkness of KH, though their end goals may be different. correct me if i'm wrong, but i think i remember hearing something about this form receiving MX's heart when Terranort separated into Ansem SoD/TSD and Xemnas, so maybe some form of MX's memories came with his heart into Ansem.

 

Xemnas: from what i can tell with Xemnas, it seems like he's more or less resembling Terra. yes he's based off of Terra's body, but if you look at the scene in KHFM+ where he goes to whichever chamber it is (can't think of its name right now), and he calls Aqua's armor "friend," there's something coming from Terra's memories, the remembrance of Aqua, whether or not he remembers her name.

 

Terranort: i haven't played BBS, so the way this looks to me, from seeing cutscenes, is basically Terranort holds on to Xehanorts name, but I don't see much else in the way of memories from either MX or Terra. again, i haven't played BBS, so that may not be the case.

 

MX: MX is MX, until he gives his heart up and joins up with Terra, where Terranort comes into fruition. his memories should be his own up to that point, as far as i can tell.

 

yes i know i did them in reverse order, but i was just rolling them off as the came to memory, and that's how they happened to come out, so there you go.

KH made this way too confusing. No one can fully explain this, but I can try. Here's my usual explanation for this.

 

MX puts his heart in Terra's body. Terra rejects MX's heart and uses his will and power to create the Lingering Sentiment. Afterwards, Terra makes it so he and MX begin to lose their memories. This creates Xehanort. He is told what he was planning by Braig and soon begins to remember parts of his plot. He then begins studying the works of the heart and the darkness under Ansem the Wise. Xehanort then banishes Ansem to the realm of nothingess and then Xehanort along with eight others fall into the darkness after an experiment gone wrong.-BBS

MX's heart is consumed by the darkness and turns into the heartless, which takes the name Ansem, seeker of darkness. Ansem influences people to become heartless controllers and starts to make Maleficent do his bidding, with getting the PoH and grooming Riku. He then takes over Riku's body, to gain strength, obtains the Keyblade to People's hearts and makes Sora open up the door to darkness. Then Ansem and Sora battle and he loses relying on the 'dark' power within KH. Fails at this, realising that KH is made of light and dies.-KH1

Xemnas takes on Terra's body and has his heart stored inside his body, like Ventus' was inside of Roxas. A few memories of Terra's flow into him and he is able to recognise both the existence of Aqua and Ven. However, he still has his memories as Xehanort and thus has evil intentions. He tries to gain the power of Kingdom Hearts to make himself live forever and be eternal. He thinks getting a heart will also help this. Eventually loses to both Sora and Riku.-KH2

Xehanort is reborn. Unknown what he knows and remembers and what his intentions are.- KH3
