So, tell me something. How did you feel after you watched the ending of KH1? You know, back when it was first out. For me, the ending made me kinda sad to see Sora and Kairi seperating again. But other than that, the ending did have a "Disney magic" feeling to it.

i thought it was kinda sad that riku helped sora to close the door to the light and lock himself in the realm of darkness

I was like: what? D: no happy ending? DX

I was sad, since Sora and Riku were apart, Kairi was left, and Sora couldn't go back home yet...

But yeah you're right, it did have that Disney magic feeling :)

To tell you the truth, I didn't feel anything at the end of KH1 lol. The only time I felt sad in KH was in 358/2 days with Xion, KH2 with Roxas, and BBS with Aqua. Those parts made me feel sad with a tear about to come out lol.

i cried like a baby (i was like six so dont push it and i still cry when i see it) but it was depressing when i saw that i was like "the poor boy he was just separated by his bestist friend" but like i said i was six and i didnt really understand

I thought awesome because there has to be a sequel; I suppose that makes me a cold person.

Yeah the ending was sad...made me cry little

i absolutly agree it did have a "disney feeling" i was sad that Sora and Kairi got separated from Riku and Mickey but mostly i was sad cuz i was afraid id never knw what would happen next, cuz remember at the time this was a new game first of the KH series i was like " totally suck if they don't make the next one T_T" but thankfully they did!!!! yay!!

Never got to see the ending on TV. After I beat the battle with Ansem and saw the cutscene with the Door to Darkness closing, the game just froze. Either my little brother scratched the disc, or the PlayStation 2 couldn't handle the ending's awesomeness and gave out on me.

I had to look it up on YouTube, though it wasn't as bright as it would be if I had seen it on my TV, I still had to watch it.

And right then and there, I realized something. KH wasn't like most other games. It wasn't a first-person shooter. It wasn't a cheap movie tie-in. It was a STORY. A story with characters that can make you feel. With music and gameplay that are absolutely wonderful. And then I realized, on that fateful July day when I went to GameStop and saw a "Greatest Hits" title with Donald, Goofy, and a few unknown anime-looking fellows, I had bought the greatest game I would ever play.

Very moving. You beautiful words brought tears to my eyes. :')

i was like what thats how its gonna end man that sucks then i sat thru the crdits and saw the ending and deep dive and was like awsome cant wait for the next one hehe

I was really sad about the ending. I was nine when I beat the game, and I just remember thinking it was so depressing that Sora didn't get to be with Kairi. Especially after they lost their best friend and Riku told Sora to take care of Kairi. The ending when Sora and Kairi are still reaching for each other, when Sora's saying her name before fading away, when Kairi cries when seeing the drawing, when she adds to it... Gah. There couldn't have been a better ending. It was that that made me want KH2 like no other. And I think it was the ending that really made me get into the series. I had to know what was gonna happen next. Boy am I glad I'd unlocked the secret ending when I first beat the game. I'd always known there was going to be a KH2.

Wow. The Deep Dive theorizing was so fun. I remember when everyone thought Roxas was Tidus. Good times. Dang. Now I want to go back to calling Roxas the BHK. LOL

i have never heard people calling roxas tidus when deep dive was out lol wow thats new i first thought it was sora since he summoned two keyblades he used in the game and then he asked wheres sora and i was like...ok....WHO IS THAT!!??!? lol

it made me die a little inside :s

so sad. but happy at the same time i guess, because i knew there now had to be a KH2.

I was like what thats it. They better make a sequel to this game or else I'm sueing Disney! But I was sad.

Me @ end of game

Me: WTF!!! He just locked himself in there!!!! WHAT!!! Lock SORA in there. I want to play a gmae with only Riku as a playable character. Anyone else?

I was so sad. idk for me, I had to play it in the evening or else my whole day was depressing. Then years later, I played chain of memories. I remember I said "these graphics are amazing!" then kh2 came out and I died of happiness. I felt kinda bad though because it came out on my brother's birthday. :/

I cried, because you couldn't pause and my mum was making us go out for supper, haha.

I stayed up past midnight trying to complete it again, and I again cried, but at the sadness of the ending.

I wouldn't cry if I completed it now, however.

I'd already beaten KH2 prior, so I knew how it would all turn out :P

I cried my eyes out, it was beautiful and the best game I've ever played.
