When Xehanort says the keyblade war unlocked, what exactly does he mean? That the keyblade war is is still continuing on but it has been locked away in the keyblade graveyard so does this mean time travel?

He meant that he was going to try to start another Keyblade War.

Indeed. He wanted that the x-blades opens a door. A door that leads too all worlds and so keyblade wielder would flock in to fight for the light within kingdom hearts and so the keyblade war would start anew.

That was Vanitas's idea. We have no proof that that was exactly the procedure that Xehanort would have followed

Actually, that is exactly what Xehanort's plan was. That's why he created Vanitas and had him send out the Unversed. He wanted to strengthen Ven's light and Terra's darkness. Ven, so he would be strong enough to combine with Vanitas and create the X-blade so that they could use it to open Kingdom Hearts and recreate the Keyblade War. Terra, so he had a new, younger vessel so he could see the events of his Keyblade War unfold, and so he would be stronger.

Well actually, I don't know if Xehanort even knew that Vanitas' creation would cause the Unversed to appear, that's what you made it sound like anyways. I know that he did have Vanitas use the Unversed to strengthen Ventus though, that's a given. Maybe I just misunderstood what you were saying though, and you actually meant that after his creation and the discovery that Vanitas could use the Unversed, he had him send the Unversed to other worlds, but I don't know lol.

Yes, that's what I meant. When Xehanort found out that Ven could still be useful, and that Vanitas could create and control Unversed, he came up with that plan.

Ok, that's what I thought.

but does anyone even know if a second keyblade war will happen, and if it does, will Sora be caught in the middle?

If Master Xehanort succeeded in his plan Sora wouln't have ever been a wielder.

However, assuming another war will happen in a future game everyone will fight including Sora.

well Riku wouldent quite be a wielder too considering if MX succeded it could be the destruction of all of the worlds

that means everyones dead >_<

Even if Xehanort never gets to Kingdom Hearts, he still might get his war. With what Yen Sid said of Xehanort not returning alone, we could see another Keyblade War between those after KH and those trying to protect it.

odds are, if another keyblade war does happen, sora will obviously be leading the kh defenders, question is, will the war be as intense as sora's other adventures, of more intense if it happens?

I'm betting that there probably will be a Keyblade War, it would be a great way to end the series, but we will have to see...
